BMW XM Label Red: The Most Powerful M Model Ever Constructed

The new 2024 BMW XM Label Red is finally on deck after months of speculation by Syosset and Roslyn BMW enthusiasts. This incredible new model fuses an M HYBRID drivetrain with additional performance and one-of-a-kind visual craftsmanship that only highlights the tremendous power it brings to the table. With an unprecedented 738 horsepower, it’s the most powerful BMW M Model the world has ever seen.
The M HYBRID Drivetrain System
The M HYBRID system installed in the BMW XM Label Red highlights the advantages of electric power when harnessed in high-performance models like the BMW M. A harmonious combination of an electric motor and powerful V8 engine guarantees an unmatched power delivery that rises to the occasion from the first push of the accelerator through every gear and subsequent RPM level. The engine combo is mechanically similar to the BMW M Hybrid V8 endurance race car—a design you can catch competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The torque hits the ceiling at 738 lb-ft and is delivered by the M xDrive AWD drivetrain. Combined with the one-of-a-kind chassis and lightning-fast powertrain, this new BMW provides a blend of quickness and raw power in a class all its own.
Track Times
So, what exactly does this increase in power spell for the M Label? Well, a top contender on the quarter-mile track, for starters. The BMW XM Label Red shutters from 0 to 60 MPH in a bone-jarring 3.7 seconds. With the optional M Driver’s Package, the top speed hits an incredible 175 MPH.
High-Voltage Electric Motor
The electric motor onboard draws its current from a high-voltage lithium-ion that’s custom-fitted to the underbody of the vehicle. It releases a steady influx of power across a massive temperature window encountered under the duress of high-performance maneuvering. The net energy is 19.2 kWh, and combined with smart energy management capability, you can expect an electric range of around 30 miles.
Even more impressive? In all-electric mode, the BMW XM Label Red maxes out at 87 MPH and is silent when doing so. However, the power distribution kicked out by the electric motor is accentuated by BMW IconicSounds Electric, via collaboration with film composer Hans Zimmer.
Beyond Raw Power
The BMW XM Label Red isn’t just a track car; it’s geared for performance from top to bottom. The M xDrive AWD is rear-biased, leading to higher levels of agility and composure during tight turns. The Dynamic Stability Control can be disengaged and substituted for 4WD Sand Mode, created for driving over sand dunes and intense desert terrain.
Beautiful Design
The BMW XM Label Red is lean and muscular with bold lines that outline large surface areas. Added to this immaculate design work are red accents in a color deemed Toronto Red—a metallic accent paint. But the fun doesn’t stop there. The red trim segues onto the model badge and even the wheel inserts. Complete with 23-inch alloys and Black high-gloss diffuser elements, the look goes perfectly with the performance.
Performance Interior
The interior is even more impressive. The BMW XM Label Red features multifunction seats and M-specific content scattered throughout the cabin. You’ll also find knee pads, an M-specific control panel, and an M-Hybrid button that selects the operator mode for the drivetrain. A Setup Button allows you to manually configure the powertrain, chassis, steering, braking, and M xDrive—all customizable to your liking. Heated backrests extend to the sides, wrapping you in a warm, comfortable enclosure on cold days. The cushiony Merino leather isn’t too shabby either and glosses over, thanks to the 100 LED lights illuminating the cabin. Throughout the interior cabin, the border is outlined with a picture-frame style stitching job that creates a three-dimensional look. Rounding out the features is the Harman Kardon Surround Sound with an optional Bowers & Wilkins upgrade complete with a 1,475-watt amp.
