If you have the Level 2 charging station installed at home, you can expect a full charge overnight, which is great if you travel far often. 

Level 3 Charging 

Lastly, Level 3 charging is the fastest of them all, with a charging speed of 3 to 20 miles per minute. These chargers use a direct current, whereas Level 1 and Level 2 chargers use an alternating current. They also require a much higher voltage, so you usually won’t see these in homes as most residences don’t have the power to accommodate them. However, if you’re out and about and you need to charge quickly, a Level 3 charger will get you back to the road as soon as possible.
